Pricing and choosing the best inspector

Over the years, most people calling for an inspection appointment first ask, "what is your price?" Sure price is important, but most inspectors' fees fall into a tight range. There are a few 'cheap' inspectors and there are few 'expensive' inspectors. The 'cheap' inspectors are usually newbies and you will most likely get a 'cheap' inspection. The 'expensive' inspectors are usually extravagant, take multiple hours to conduct the inspection, provide you with an overwhelmingly long report.

But REMEMBER, the most important question you should ask an inspector is HOW QUALIFIED ARE THEY TO INSPECT YOUR LARGEST INVESTMENT?
Are they trained regularly
Are they certified
Are they licensed
Are they experienced
Do they give you a report within 24 hours
Are they certified to test for Radon, Water, (optional) Mold

Every inspection is priced based on
*Size of the property
*Location of the property
*Age of the property
*and if any additional testing is requested

and have performed over 2,400 home inspections

Always ask for inspector qualifications, number of
inspections performed, and how long an inspector
has been in business. These questions will protect you.
